Our thanks to nearly 400 who walked, individuals or businesses that donated money or gifts-in-kind to support the 2008 WyoAIDS Walk. We had our best walk ever! More than $20,000 was raised, which brings our seven year total to more than $100,000! Additionally, nearly 100 people took advantage of the free rapid HIV testing offered the week prior to the walk, and several hundred more attended one of the education programs offered. If you couldn't join us for any of this year's events, you can still support the walk. Send your contribution to WyoAIDS Walk, PO Box 2403, Laramie, WY 82073.
Once again this year we thank all the Laramie merchants who participated in the "Paint the Town Red" campaign. Many Laramie merchants displayed Red Ribbons in support of the walk. Money raised from this year's walk will help men and women living with HIV in Wyoming and their families. Walk money helps when no other funds are available to help with medicaion co-pays, dental and vision care, counseling, and other unmet needs. Individuals may apply for help through their case managers, and the funds are administered by Laramie Reproductive Health. Addionally, money from this year's walk will also go to the NAZ Foundation in India, providing care and support for HIV infected children, and to Partners in Health, providing care, education and support in Rwanda and other third world countries. Look for us in April 2009 for the 8th annual WyoAIDS Walk, and together we can live year's theme of Be a Friend, Not Afraid, Stamp out Stigma.

The 2007 WyoAIDS Walk raised more than $14,000 to help men, women and children living with HIV in Wyoming. Our thanks and appreciation goes to all the volunteers, donors, sponsors and the 300+ walkers who made it possible! If you couldn't join us for the 2008 walk, you can still donate.
